SDC has unique materials processing capabilities that enable the direct bonding of nano-scale catalytic material onto a support in a single manufacturing step. Our novel production process substantially simplifies the manufacture of catalysts, eliminating many of the processing steps and the use of hazardous solvents typically required for functionalizing active materials.
Our catalytic material is highly uniform with an average size ranging between 1 and 4 nanometers, depending on the element. Tests show that the massive surface area of active material created by our process remains stable well beyond the time and temperature limits of today's catalysts.
